Thank you for 21-Day Novena

Third Sunday of Easter

Please join in an extended Novena for 21 days beginning on Monday, April 11, 2016, the Feast of Saint Stanislaus, a holy bishop and a martyr for justice and marital purity (link), through May 1, 2016, the Feast of Saint Joseph, The Worker, praying a Rosary each day for the intention that more U.S. Catholic bishops embrace the devotion to Our Lady of America by making it the highest priority.

With enough people praying for the bishops to commit to Our Lady of America, the United States Catholic bishops could act immediately to have the solemn procession and permanent placement of the statue of Our Lady of America occur during the Month of June 2016 [in less than two (2) months from now]. For those who are able, please consider making a Holy Hour each day before The Most Blessed Sacrament (whether exposed for adoration or reserved in the tabernacle).

This we can do most effectively through The Most Holy Rosary, and we respectfully ask that you do this suchwise that the Bishops of the United States of America will soon, very soon, have that Solemn Procession of the statue of Our Lady of America into the National Shrine of The Immaculate Conception at Washington.

Please dedicate the prayer of The Rosary throughout the 21 days to these intentions, and even praying a 15-decade or 20-decade Rosary for the intentions set forth in this message. Then, let us hope and trust that on The Feast of Saint Joseph, The Worker (May 1), Our Lady will have accomplished this intercession with Her Divine Son, Jesus, for the Bishops in a most special way.

What better way to join into this three weeks of prayer, than The Most Holy Rosary?

"One thing is clear: although the repeated Hail Mary is addressed directly to Mary, it is to Jesus that the act of love is ultimately directed, with her and through her." [His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Letter of October 16, 2002, Rosarium Virginis Mariae, #26]

As we pray for the United States Catholic bishops and the heavy workload which they carry, we can ask that they are able to focus on Our Lady of America:

"To pray the Rosary is to hand over our burdens to the merciful Hearts of Christ and His Mother." [His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Letter of October 16, 2002, Rosarium Virginis Mariae, #25]

Thus, The Rosary leads us through invoking Mary, to the contemplation of Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and His intercession with The Eternal Father.

We are also hopeful that the remaining secular legal issues pertaining to the devotion will be resolved by the 1st of May. [Apparently within a filing deadline of March 17, the adversaries in McCarthy v. Fuller filed their Petition for discretionary review (Certiorari) with the Supreme Court of the United States; and, thanks be to God and our Blessed Mother, that Petition has already moved to the chambers of each individual Supreme Court Justice for immediate review. The Supreme Court could well act on their Petition by the last week in April in a way which will end forever any secular claims impinging on the devotion.] Therefore, also during the next 21 days, please pray that each and every Supreme Court Justice will act to deny that Petition in Certiorari Case No. 15-1212 as soon as possible. Along with the Holy Rosary, please pray each day:

"By Thy Holy & Immaculate Conception, O Mary, deliver us from evil!"
